"In all of living, have much fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured." President Gordon B. Hinckley

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will--to your surprise--miss them profoundly." President Thomas S. Monson

Island Park

For the past 12 years or so we have made a voyage to Teton Village near Jackson, Wyoming with all of my dad's extended family. This year we went to Island Park, Idaho instead (near West Yellowstone). It was neat to go back to where my dad used to go as a kid: Big Sp
rings, Henry's Lake, Island Park Resevoir. I think it was kind of nostalgic for him. We had a great time despite the temps in the 40's and the snow banks still prevalent. I love my family and I love that it doesn't take a lot for us to have a good time. I think I got shot a few too many times by Zach's marshmallow gun though.

I told you there was lots of snow. This is the church parking lot:

It turns out that cold, spring weather makes for a great time to see wildlife!
We saw lots of these:
and these:

and even some of these (I hope it's not the same mother grizzly that did this):
